PKT would like to recognize and thank Pam for:

• Helping co-workers have time off over the holidays by switching her shift around
• Finding new healthy recipes on her own time and creating great meals at the house
• Leaving very detailed notes in the communication book and the health progress notes whenever a major illness came up
• Helping set up the Christmas tree
• Helping the clients “Pick the Name” so they could participate in a Christmas exchange

PKT would like to recognize and thank Christina for:

• Consistently going above and beyond to make sure that all holidays and special events are celebrated at the house, accomplishing this with special meals or craft projects to decorate the house.
• Working very hard to make sure that client’s clothes look good and stay organized.  Also makes sure that the clothes that no longer fit are replaced and allows personal preferences for the clients when shown what their options are.
• Being extremely flexible with her schedule when short staffed and working double shifts to help with the scheduling needs.

• Coming up with great ideas, such as setting up a game room at the Brick House
• Advocating for the wellness of client needs
• Shopping for the client’s winter clothes
• Effectively handling client behaviors gracefully at a Halloween party

PKT would like to recognize and thank Gepsy for:

• Communicating very well with the new House Coordinator about many different aspects of the house, from what supplies are needed, to how the other staff see things that are going on with the “guys”
• Effectively dealing with challenging behavior situations and handling them in a professional manner
• Encouraging the clients to eat their meals together “family-style” and always working hard to cook them good, nutritious meals
• Getting the guys’ needs met, such as taking them to the bank to cash their checks and completing other errands as needed

PKT would like to recognize and thank Sherri for:

• Doing a great job at helping a client handle her parent passing by being there when visiting at the hospital, being supportive when grieving for their loss, helping her choose what to wear to the funeral, and giving the client the nurturing needed during this tough time in their life
• Her willingness to pick up shifts at last minute, switching her schedule around to help a coworker out when emergencies happen, and offering to leave early to help coworker take less PTO
• Doing a great job at reminding supervisors and coworkers the needs of the clients we work with and that sometimes we need to remember where the clients are coming from on a personal level

• Spending time getting to know what is important to the clients; talks to them about cars, music and animals
• Being very flexible with her schedule; recently worked several awake overnights on very short notice
• Jumping in and bringing tons of enthusiasm to the house

• Always being on top of the monthly data, does an excellent job with the paperwork
